It’s been a while since I’ve posted any pictures, so here’s a poorly-thought-out selection of pictures.

So, uh… If I’ve sent you a text message in the last 24 hours, you’ve probably received it about 30 times today. Sorry.
Every time I turn my old and busted RAZR phone on, it starts resending everything in my outbox. Luclily, I cleared my outbox yesterday afternoon, but still - sorry. I’ll try to keep my phone off until I figure out how to prevent the text message hemorrhages.
[Update : 2:05 PM] Well, I fixed my phone - I think. Removing and reseating the SIM card several times while the phone was on (and charging) was probably not a good idea, but that course of action seems to have fixed things. Of course, I also made clear threats of replacing the RAZR with a Samsung, so that might have helped too. Anyways, I also realized that I’ve had this phone for almost two years to the day. In honor of that feat (which is none too small for a mobile, especially one that takes the abuse that I dish out), I will share it’s noble record of service with you. Since I’ve had the phone, I’ve made 12,621 minutes worth of phone calls and have spent a whopping 29,160 minutes of data time (no, I’m not a nerd AT ALL - what would give you that idea?). Thanks to that unlimited data plan, I’ve also transferred just over two gigs of data, which is pretty significant for a GPRS data connection. Oh yeah, I’m *that* hardcore.

I played DDR at an arcade over the weekend. I think it might have been the first time I’ve ever tried it. I was pretty horrible at first, but I got better over the three songs we tried.
After that one game, I wanted everyone in the arcade (except one person) to leave and let me play DDR all freaking day. Last night, I played Guitar Hero on the PS2 and had a damn good time (on easy, of course). Now, I need a Wii.

Of course, now that the nexus has gone into archive, it never occurred to me to simply cast a line back into the (new) old pond.
This is not how stella got her groove back, but it may be how I rediscover some of the most accepting and positive friends that I’ve met.
Left foot.
Right foot.
Repeat. (and occasionally stick into mouth, for effect)

Washington. Land of apples and cities that think (mistakenly) that they’re better than Portland. Of course, they do have an IKEA. And a market where they throw fish. And some of my friends. Washington is probably okay after all. But Oregon is better!
In other apple related news, I ate this one yesterday afternoon. Before I ate it, I noticed someone else’s teethmarks on the apple - like they started to take a bite and had a change of heart. Hunger won, and I ate the apple anyways. I didn’t even wash it.
Sodexho sells crappy produce. But I buy it. Not for long though! I’m starting to get into the habit of buying more than beer, cheese and frozen food at the store.

One of my younger brothers got married last year. Now, his wife is in labor. It seems very strange, Ben having a kid. Of course, it was strange when I had one too. Kids are just strange. But anyone who’s been or had one could tell you that.
Originally, the baby was expected on Valentine’s Day ~ even though this places the baby about 6 days early, this is clearly a better day to be born. Imagine trying to celebrate your birthday on Valentine’s Day. Depressing. Now try to to imagine celebrating your childs birthday on Valentine’s Day (the day when you’re supposed to be getting action!) But I digress… Ben and Nicole are expecting a boy, and they’re expecting him this evening between 5 and 6, though I wonder how accurate doctors can be about these things.
I don’t believe they’ve agreed on a name yet, but I may be wrong. Nonetheless, I’ll be leaving work a tad early today to head to hospital. Hopefully, I’ll beat my nephew there. If I leave early enough, I may have time to stop by my house and fill flask before I go (for celebrating!).

Today, my employer had an “all employee” barbecue outside. The weather has been really nice lately, so the timing was great. Though the weather and the barbecue are mostly unremarkable. Our previous receptionist stopped by for a visit and we had lunch.
Stop laughing.
It was pretty cool getting to hang out with her, now that the stigma of being coworkers is gone. We talked about hanging out more now that she’s back in town, and I have to say that I’m looking forward to it.
And now, back to work.
